Macromedia Flash MX 2004
With Flash MX 2004 you can create instructional materials that allow your students to observe a complex concept simplified as an animated, which can be separated into multiple digestible steps. Prerequisite: Workshops build on each other and must be taken in the following order.
Flash MX 2004: Introduction
Learn about the tools, windows and features of Flash. Here you will gain all the necessary knowledge to navigate the Flash desktop in comfort. While using some of the tools, you will begin developing objects, which will be animated in the next workshop. Completion of this class is required prior to attendance in subsequent Flass courses.
Flash MX 2004: Animation
Required: Completion of Flash MX 2004: Introduction.
Create Symbols to maximize Flash’s file size. Use multiple frames and layers to create movement. Learn how to use Motion and Shape tweens to create animation on the stage. Learn more about Movie Clips and multiple stages. Objects animated in this workshop will be given a navigational interface in the next workshop.
Flash MX 2004: Navigation
Required: Completion of Flash MX 2004: Introduction and Flash MX 2004: Animations.
When creating multiple animations and concepts in a Flash file, it becomes necessary to provide your users a way to navigate through the application. In this workshop we will add a user interface. Using the drawing tools, Button Symbols, and Action Scripts to finish your Flash experience and give you a start in developing your own instructional animations.
