Effective Presentations - Eliminating Death by PowerPoint
So you spent time learning how to use PowerPoint and/or some other nifty presentation tool but you still don’t seem to be engaging your audience like you wish you could. How can you use multimedia tools most effectively to get your message across and keep your audience interested? This workshop will examine some of the pitfalls that presenters fall into and look closely at the reasons why some presentations are very successful and thoroughly engaging while others are not. We will review both the mechanics (proper font size, color, implementation of video & audio on your PowerPoint slides, etc.) and engagement theory (i.e., what separates the “WOW” presenters from the so-so ones).
